We are all busy and stressed in one way or the other in our lives. Sleep deprived, tension, hormonal disbalance all comes with it. These lead to health problems and one of the most common problem amongst all is hair loss.
Trying different hair fall shampoos, hair oils or hair tonic must have been a desperate effort to arrest the hair loss but they all have limited effects and you may not see much results as you expected. Of course there are treatments which can help reduce the rate at which your hair falls out.
Regular intake of vitamin and nutrient rich diet is always recommended. One of the main component which makes hair stronger and promotes healthy hair growth is Biotin. It also has the ability to strengthen nails if taken in higher doses.
Biotin is also known as Vitamin H , Vitamin B7 to name a few. Biotin needs to be consumed daily and if anyone has difficulties in including it in daily diet then taking supplements can be beneficial as well. But it is always healthier if you consume it in your food.
I have tried a healthy snack at home which is sweet Biotin balls and they are packed with goodness. It is very simple and easy to prepare and the ingredients are available easily. This snack can be consumed daily for health benefits. You will see effective results within 1 week. This can be consumed by any age group and can be stored in room temperature for a long period. I have read about these ingredients and found they are rich in Biotin and can be really effective.
So, let's read how to prepare the super easy Biotin rich snack and the ingredients are:-
Sunflower seeds:- Amongst all seeds sunflower seeds has the highest amount of biotin in them. This is the vital ingredient of the biotin powder as it also contains zinc and vitamin E which helps in hair growth and strong nails. These tiny seeds are quite a punch of nutrients. This is a super food for hair.
Almonds: Almonds are rich in protein, fibre and have high content of Vitamin E. Almonds are also rich in Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids. Almonds are nutrient rich and is a healthy snack option. It is high in magnesium and a magnesium deficiency is linked to hair loss.
Dry Coconut Powder: This increases the taste of the powder. We already know coconut has enormous benefits for hair. So consuming fresh coconut or dry powder is extremely beneficial for hair.
Black sesame seeds:- This has an enormous benefit to the hair. It is rich in omega fatty acid and it stimulates hair growth, gives nourishment to the hair and reduces hair fall. They trigger hair growth by nourishing the roots with rich omega fatty acid contents.
To make this preparation sweeter I use jaggery in liquid form. You might use another sweetener of your choice. Jaggery is loaded with antioxidants and rich in mineral content.
Preparation to make sweet balls of Biotin:-
Dry roast the almonds first, In a mixer jar add these almonds, sunflower seeds and grind just for a minute to make powder. Add black sesame seeds, dry coconut powder to this powder and mix a few tspns of jaggery liquid. Mix them well and make small balls of this mixture. Store them in a glass jar at room temperature. This is packed with nutrients and vitamins and nourishment needed for your hair.
Try this and enjoy this in between meals or a snack when you are craving for something.
