1) DIY Vanilla Coffee soap:- Make your coffee soap. This is super easy. Get a Glycerine soap bar or shea butter soap base. Cut them in cubes and melt them in the microwave. Once melted cool it down a bit and then add 1 1/2 tspn of coffee grounds, 2 tbspn of virgin coconut oil and few drops of vanilla scent in it. Coconut oil will help in moisturising your skin.Mix well and pour them silicon moulds and refrigerate them...It can be a perfect gift for someone for festivals or any occasions. OR you may use your own homemade Vanilla Coffee soap.

2) Powerful Hand scrub:- After you have chopped onions, garlic or even washed fish your hands will be smelly and even after using a hand wash the powerful smell doesn't go away easily. So, you can prepare this hand scrub using coffee grounds, 1 tspn of sea salt and 1 tspn of coconut oil. Keep this mixture near the sink. Scrub your hands with this mix every time your hands get smelly or even after gardening. This does take the smell away.

3) Scrubbing dishes:- How many of you struggle to get the stubborn grease out of your dishes and oven tray and rack? It might be a good physical exercise sometimes huffing and puffing but the grease is too difficult to get rid of. Here's a solution...Sprinkle the coffee grounds on the greasy dish, use some liquid soap on the sponge and give it a good scrub. It is less abrasive than steel wool and wouldn't damage the pan.

4) Neutralises odour:- One of the most effective ways to get stinky shoes odour free is using coffee grounds. Get some empty tea bags or old socks and fill them up with coffee grounds and stick them inside the shoe.  Or take a small bowl and fill up with coffee grounds and keep this bowl inside a shoe cabinet OR any stinky place. This works as a deodoriser and would definitely work.

5) Plant fertiliser:- Would you like to grow big veggies? Coffee grounds is a natural fertiliser which easily breaks down in the soil. It releases nitrogen and it promotes the ph of the soil which is good for veggies. Small amounts of coffee grounds should be sprinkled around little seedlings but with the bigger plants you can be more generous. It is a plant food especially for the acid loving plants. This is a crazy fertiliser and the veggie plants will love it and you will have big veggies...Try it!

6) Keep the slugs and snails away:- Every morning when you take a walk in your garden and see your precious plants being eaten away by the slugs and the snails at night, it must be really annoying. Slugs are not fond of coffee grounds. Sprinkle some around the base of the plant and this will work as a wonderful deterrent as it creates a barrier for the pests and slugs. It will keep them away.

7) Keep the cats away:- If you are fed up with your neighbour's cat coming to your garden and doing its job on your veggie garden. Well, just sprinkle coffee grounds nicely along the vegetable plants. Cats do not like the coffee smell and this is the most safe and humane way of keeping them away.

8) Natural homemade candle:- If you love the smell of the coffee why not try making your own coffee scented candle. Melt candle wax in the microwave for about 90 seconds. You can add your own preferred scent to it. While you wait for the wax to cool down a little bit, add a wick to the centre of the jar and pour the wax in the jar slowly. Add a couple of coffee grounds scoops in the wax and let it pull the granules and repeat the process until the jar is full. Once full cut the wick to size and you will have your own coffee candle. It's easy and it will sure cost more than to make your own.
